As springtime approaches, it’s time to think about getting our arms and abs in shape! Today we’re going to focus on these areas with 30 minutes of total workout including a warm-up and HIIT finisher.

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is sometimes also called high-intensity intermittent exercise or sprint interval training. HIIT workouts are a form of interval training using alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. This type of training demands an all-out, 100% effort through short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by short recovery periods. HIIT workouts are a favorite of many strength and endurance athletes, as well as those trying to lose weight, because HIIT workouts get and keep your heart rate up so you’re able to burn more fat in less time.
